“We would like-“

“-your blessing-“

“-of-“

“-our marriage!” The couple stares excitedly at Elsa’s face, searching for a hint of how she is about to react. Her expression is overcome with confusion, but there is also a sliver of joy in her eyes. A life outside the gates of Arendelle is all Anna ever wanted, and if marrying this prince would give her that…well, Elsa wanted to see her sister be happy.

“You have my blessing.”

Anna lets out a shriek of joy and jumps forward to hug Elsa. “Thanks sis…” She stops herself short with both her words and her action. “I mean…thank you my Queen.” She curtseys awkwardly again and Elsa smiles back.

“So, what are your plans for the wedding?”

“Well, we haven’t worked out all the details ourselves. We’ll need a few days to plan the ceremony. Of course we’ll have soup, roast, and ice cream and then…wait. Would we live here?”

“Here?” The surprise in Elsa’s voice leaves an uneasy feeling in her two subjects. The only reason she agreed to the sudden union is because she thought Anna would leave Arendelle, and in doing so, relieve herself of some of her guilt as a negligent older sister.

However, not wanting to lose the precious moment’s opportunity, Hans yells, “Absolutely!”

“Oh, we can invite all twelve of your brothers to stay with us-“

“What? No, no, no, no, no.” Elsa instantly regrets her somewhat selfish decision of agreeing to the marriage, and is now laden with even more guilt of once again, disappointing Anna. She would have to talk to Anna alone and explain to her why she can’t marry a man she just met.

And with that, the original story continues.
